We went Nature Republic @ 313, was kind of tempted to buy their PineTree Urban Detox Clay Mask. But decided not to buy on impulse again~ although the word 'detox' just sounds soooooo gooood to me~ Bought their nail polish which cost $1.75 only! I applied it immediately after I reached home, it glides across the nails quite smoothly and drys quite quickly.

Weird tin is that nothing was printed on the bottle (not even the colour label and the shop name). Of course, it can't be compared with O.P.I nail polish which I tried at sephora this evening. O.P.I nail polish really glides across the nails really smoothly and drys very quickly. Super like their Calender gal and Black onyx, but they are too expensive. Anyway, I rarely apply nail polish unless I am in a vain mood or during Chinese New Year or Christmas.
We went Takashimaya stationery department, and I was tempted once again to buy a file ($7.80), but I obediently put it back after Sy says it's too expensive. Thanks Sy! Help me save money! lol. On our way out of the store, we saw that there is a food fair going on! We ended up settling our lunch? or dinner? there.

We ate at this Japanese booth and right in front of us were corpses of fishes lol. However, we didn't smell anything. Sy ordered the saba set which was quite nice (just that it's a bit salty).

I ordered the IKA set, the Ika was nicely displayed on the plate. Once again, I think it is also abit too salty. However, for such a big plate of chewy and juicy Ika, which costs only $9.90, I have nothing much to complain.
I finally made my second purchase at Watsons, even though I promised myself that I won't buy on impulse again (on my previous entry). REally didn't intended to buy anything, however I was haunted by a promoter aunty. Was looking and testing BRTC BB cream while waiting for SY to come back from the toilet. The aunty started to talk to me about BB creams, but I told her i was just browsing and walked off to garnier's counter.
She followed me there and initiated a conversation with me asking me what skin care products I was using. I told her I was using Clinique's basic 3 steps (was kind of expecting her to say Clinique's products don't suit me), but to my surprise, she praised Clinique's products and says that I should continue to use them. That is when I got hooked onto looking at her products!
She is a promoter for URIAGE skin care and she says that I should use their cleansing lotion in the morning, before cleansing with my cleanser. Reason being that rinsing water on the face directly will harm or shock the skin or something, and using their cleansing lotion will helps to sooth the skin and remove any trace of oil, dirt and make-up. Forgot to mention that all their products contain thermal spring water, similar to Avene products.
However, the promoter claims that their products contain higher concentration of thermal water and is customised for different skin types. ( I think the latter is quite true cause Avene products targets mainly dry or oily skin, Uriage products are more specific, they have a wider range targeting oily skin, oily combi, dry combi, dry, dehydrated and sensitive-dehydrated etc.)
This cleansing lotion is to be applied in the morning be4 cleansing with soap and at night after removing make-up. The promoter did a thorough analysis of my skin condition (large and clogged pores + oily-combi + dehydrated skin + ance-prone), and decided that I should use the one designed for oily to combi skin (She recommends Sy to buy the one for sensitive skin subjected to redness). Taken from their website: This cleansing lotion eliminates impurities, purifies the skin and protects it against everyday aggressions, such as pollution.
The promoter says that as long as proper and thorough cleansing is done, my pores will not be clogged and will stop enlarging. This will also allows better absorption of skincare products applied (which I totally agree!).
I removed my BB cream and cezanne foundation with my make-up removal using a tissue. True enough, after I wiped my face with the cleansing lotion, I could still see some traces of foundation on the cotton wool. This means I haven't been doing proper cleansing for few months!! No wonder my pores keep enlarging like crazy! Shall be more hardworking from now on! Stop being lazy and wash face properly twice a day!

The aunty gave me two samples to try. I tried the gentle exfoliating mask~ it's really good!! The skin feels cleaner, cooler, smoother & softer and my skin seems to be able to absorb the moisturiser better!! (At least my Simple or Mentholatum or Kose deep cleansing mask doesn't give me such effect.) May consider buying it after I finish using ALLLLLL my masks, including sheet mask~
Did a body scrub with st. ives apricot face scrub just now. Really love it! The beads are too rough for the face, but they are really suitable for use on the body. After doing a thorough scrub, it feels like my fingerprints have been scrubbed off!! My hand feels super smooth now. Only left a little of it, but I just bought the milk seasalt scrub so shall try if it's better than my st. ives di~ If not, I WIL DEFINITELY COME BACK TO U!! MY DEAR LOVE, St. ives~! (after I finished all the rest of my scrubs) lol
